Our Programs

While our programs differ hospital to hospital, there are five programs that are core to mission:

  • Comfort BagsIndividual gift bags provided to patients and their families.  Each bag contains items that are useful for stays in the hospital.  Our bags include a combination of the following:

    1. Entertainment items - notebook, pen, puzzle book, coloring book, crayons, deck of playing cards, play doh, stress ball, etc...

  • Brady BlanketsHomemade fleece blankets provided to patients.  Our blankets are handmade by a volunteer and wrapped in ribbon with a note from Brady's Smile.  The blankets are soft to touch and brighten up a child's room.  The child keeps the blanket forever.

  • "Teen Totes"
Similar to comfort bags, these 'totes' focus on the needs of teenagers during their hospital stay (ages 12-17).  Included are an assortment of the following items:  nerf balls, wireless bluetooth headphones, fuzzy socks, fidgets, journals, gel pens, sports magazines, yoga mats, puzzles, etc...

  • Meals by Matt & AnnieWe provide meals (weekly/monthly depending on the hospital) to families of children in the hospital.  We also provide breakfast items to inpatient units and coffee (typically keurig pods or Dunkin Donut giftcards).

  • Music in the ICU

Our goal is to have music available to each bedside in the ICU.  We work together with music specialists to fund music programs at children's hospitals as well as providing music stations at each bedside.
