This wonderful program will provide monthly homemade meals to the parents, families and caregivers of newborns and children in the ICU.  The reality of many ICU environments is that parents often neglect their own health because they are scared to leave the bedside and can only think about their sick or disabled child.  This happened many times to us when Brady was in the ICU and the only food we often ate during a day came late at night from a vending machine.  In addition to providing some much needed nutrition, we hope that this program provides a small break from the lights and beeps of an ICU and the constant stress associated with nonstop doctors and nurses attending to your child.  We learned very quickly during our time in the ICU that we were of no value to Brady if we weren't taking care of ourselves and it is with this program that we hope to pass that message along.

How YOU Can Help:

1)  Provide a monetary donation to Brady‘s Smile - You have the opportunity to donate specifically to the Meals By Matt & Annie Program.  Please write “Meals” in the memo part of your check.
2)  Donate a meal - We are looking for volunteers to make meals for our monthly dinner programs and can work with you to plan a menu and help estimate how much food will be needed.  Don't want to make a full meal but specialize in appetizers or deserts and want to help?  Great - we will coordinate a drop-off time and date and include your appetizer or desert with our overall meal.
3)  Solicit help from a local restaurant - Who knows how to cook a meal for a large group of people better than a restaurant?  Talk to your local restaurants about this program and see if they would be willing to donate a meal.  Restaurant participation will include acknowledgment of the restaurant name and logo as a sponsor for the meal provided and will not only make a difference in the lives of children and their families in the ICU, but will also provide a means for local advertising (an added bonus!).
